Casey-Palooza

My birthday has been begun, and under a different moniker!

I tagged only to my parents' movie and a dinner night to celebrate quietly with them. I'm at my folks' house, spending the night to wake up here for my birthday. It's a Tuesday, so it's not very exciting of a day to have a birthday. However myself friends are pumped for making it fun.

Just out of no-where, or from too much karaokeing at Bonner's, Lisa (of the Valentine's fame) said "Let's do Casey Quizzo for your birthday." Therefore my Jesus year will be heralded in the way it should be: me at a bar with friends with my trying to turn water into wine (or beer) and their (and my parents') learning way too much about me.

It's the first time in two or three years that I've been overly excited about a birthday! The last few times were too near bittersweet occassions, but now, something in my life is going right! I have a great job and I feel that I made a great decision in leaving my old job. I'm growing still as a person, and I feel that I belong now. So that excitement is pumping me up for my natal celebration!
