I'm not feeling well. I just feel like a have a head cold waiting to happen. I didn't go to my friend's new job happy hour celebration and I skipped rugby to rest.
Remember I have the first day of my two day reunion planning conference tomorrow and the Gryphons' Bachelor Auction. I can't be sick for that.
So I went to my medicine cabinet, hoping against hope that I had some drugs. The surprise was a) I did and b) they were from Australia. Well, techinically they aren't drugs but herbal remedies.
I recalled why I bought these suppliments. I was getting ready to return home from Australia, and I felt like I do now, like I was going to get a cold. I rushed over to the Macquarie Center to a pharmacy for something to fend off the cold. However both pharmacies were closed and I went to the Wooly's to see if they had anything. Since Woolworths is a grocery store, there were no medications that I could find to buy, and I was left buying these Day and Night pills made from herbs. I took them, but to no avail. I had a cold, a 24 effing hour cold on my return trip to Philadelphia from Sydney.
Then, I noticed in my cabinet NiteQuil soft gels. When I landed in San Francisco, I called my folks to let them know that I had gotten through customs and I was waiting from my flight to Philly. I asked if they would be able to pick me up. My mom was worried and ask what was wrong. I just told her that I developed a cold in Australia and I had been suffering it all during my travel. She agreed to pick me up. When I landed in PHL, my dad was waiting for me with dinner and drugs. I still have the NiteQuil and I'm using it now.
Well, I better iron for my big days and get myself to sleep.
